In 2017 Carlin Dunne set a record of 14:58 on a relatively low powered Super Moto Motorcyle just barely edging out Rhys Millen and his HOONIGAN crew in their Turbo Fiat for the win. Thank you Carlin for you contibutions to the sport and being a fine human being. You are missed and not forgotten.
In 2022 Eric Wilson, a veteran Irish Road Racer with many Isle of Man starts broke his previous year’s record with a blistering 4 minute 43 second lap of the nearly 10 mile Baja International Tourist Cup circuit in Tecate with an AVERAGE speed of over 126 miles per hour! His steed was an Obsession Engineering prepared BMW S1000R motorcycle.

The Overall Champion and King of the Hill for our first ever 2025 San Javier Hill Climb is "Tank" a racer from Los Angeles, CA. He impressed everyone with a smooth and dedicated run of the 20km mountain course. He and his well used Triumph Bonneville flew as one up the hill with an incredible time of 10 minutes 16 seconds! The more modern machines could not contend with his combination of skill and daring. Think you can beat him next year?
